Birdwatching
One of the most popular activities that you can check off your list is birdwatching. The Andamans is home to 242 species of birds. Go on a guided birding tour and familiarise yourself with the island’s aviary residents.

Mangrove Walk
Mangroves are found in abundance in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The Mangrove Walk is a great way to explore this ecosystem and learn all about how mangroves act as coastal protectors. They also help harbour juvenile fish before they grow and swim out into the ocean.

Forest Trails
Whether you’re an avid hiker or nature enthusiast, the enchanting forests leave you spellbound. The naturalist leads this walk through primitive woodlands to discover the flora and fauna unique to the islands.

Beach Hopping
The beaches of Havelock Island spell paradise with their cerulean waters, powdery white sands and beautiful coral reefs. The best way to experience the unbounded beauty and magic of these islands is by beach hopping. Start from our own Vijaynagar beach with the most spectacular views of the sunrise and full moon rise, long stretches of azure shallow water to the popular Radhanagar Beach cove. Another beach to visit would be Elephanta Beach, which offers a diverse range of water sporting and Kalapathar, a smaller beach known for its natural beauty.

Discover Barren Island

Along with a number of PADI-certified courses, we also offer customised dive packages to suit all skill levels and preferences. Allow the experts at Lacadives to pick out suitable dive sites and groups for you for a satisfying and unforgettable adventure.
*Disclaimer: Diving experiences have an age limit from 12 to 50 years old. For people from the ages of 50 to 60, diving is only permissible with a medical certificate for diving, preferably taken before you start your travel. T&C apply.

Discover Scuba Diving
This is the world’s most popular introduction to diving. If you’ve wanted to give scuba diving a go but are unsure about committing to a full certification course, you can choose to test the waters with a DSD. This entry-level program gives you the chance to experience being and breathing underwater, requiring no prerequisites. You’ll learn the ropes from diving instructors in the swimming pool. So, sign up for a DSD and dive into the vibrant sights and sensations of a world few are privy to.

Fun Dives
If you are a certified scuba diver and are looking to flex those diving muscles, there are a number of exquisite dive sites in Havelock that are suitable for all levels – from a shallow house reef at Turtle Beach to a deep and rocky reef with a strong drift. Depending on the number of dives you wish to do, we will be happy to make a custom package for you.

PADI Open Water
Diver Course
The PADI Open Water Course is your doorway to an incredible underwater world – the stuff of National Geographic. This PADI course provides you with an internationally recognized license to dive anywhere in the world. You learn diving fundamentals through knowledge development, skill training, equipment orientation and troubleshooting in shallow water and 4 open water dives with skill exercises.

PADI Advanced
Open Water Diver Course
Under instructor supervision, the PADI Advanced Open Water course allows you to dive deeper than you would with an Open Water certification and try different kinds of diving.

Snorkeling
The waters thrive with marine life close to the surface too. The shallow reefs of the Andamans are rich in coral life with a plethora of small fish. Perhaps you could learn to duck dive with one of the dive masters at Lacadives in case you want a closer look. We also offer island hopping trips in Havelock with snorkelling included. It would be a delight to organise a bespoke trip for you and your family!

Kayaking
The sheltered, calm waters of the mangroves are the perfect place to begin kayaking. Our guide takes you through the basics of paddling techniques on land. You can then move through the water on a single or two-person kayak soaking in the view of the stunning tropical forests.

Intertidal Walk
A chance to get your feet wet in the clear tidal pools alive with beautiful marine life to marvel at, without having to dive or snorkel! The intertidal zone is that stretch of the ocean that can go from being fully submerged during a high tide, to holding as little as one foot of water at low tides. The receding water gradually begins to expose the hidden 'rocky shore' ecosystem – an enchanting world waiting to be explored. The timing for the guided intertidal walk depends upon the low and high tide which is affected by the waxing and waning phase of the moon.

Sunset Cruise
Spend an hour on one of our beautiful boats along clear, azure waters, caressed by salty air, serenaded by the ocean, surrounded by the unfiltered beauty of the island. Soak up mesmerising sunset hues and meditative calm of the Andaman sea.

Leaf Craft

The Little Naturalist Program

Shell Identification
A beachcombing activity that turns into an educational and enriching experience, deepening your appreciation for the marine biodiversity of Havelock Island. Examine and identify a variety of beautiful shells with our naturalist.

Guided Nature Walks
Our experienced naturalists will lead you through lush trails on resort grounds, sharing fascinating insights about the birds, butterflies, small jungle creatures spotted and the islands’ ecosystem.

Mangrove Walk
On this beautiful, guided walk, learn about the significance of this intriguing ecosystem; the role of mangroves as coastal protectors, and their vibrant inhabitants.

Birdwatching
Armed with binoculars, spot a vivid variety of endemic and migratory birds in a verdant tropical canopy, including the Andaman woodpecker, drongos, kingfishers, and White-bellied Sea Eagle.

Discovery Dives
These are diving experiences specially curated for kids to give them their first peek into the world of diving. Trained divers from Lacadives will guide and conduct these dives.

Signature Ayurveda Experiences

Uzhichil
A full-body massage with a medicated steam bath prepared with detoxifying herbs and aromatics – highly recommended for general fitness.

Podikizhi
An excellent therapy for relieving muscle inflammation, sprains, sciatica and stiffness, involving the use of kizhis (small muslin pouches filled with a blend of herbs) that are pummelled on the affected part after a therapeutic massage with suitable medicated oil.
