Getting There

The resort is located on Vijaynagar Beach (Beach No. 5), which is an approximately 3.5 km drive from the Havelock ferry terminal. It is recommended to schedule the flights in such a way that guests reach Port Blair before 11:00 hrs in which case, guests would be able to take the last ferry to Havelock at 14:00 hrs. Guests can fly out of Andaman on the same day, provided the morning ferry at 08:00 hrs from Havelock to Port Blair is reserved and the departure flight is scheduled to fly out of Port Blair in the evening. The approximate cruising time between Port Blair to Havelock is 2 hours per way. The ferry must be pre-booked and we would advise booking the same well in advance as the seats do get sold out often. Best Time to Visit

The ideal time for most activities like beach visits, snorkelling, scuba diving and intertidal walks is from October to May when the weather is pleasant and cool. Marine life is especially vibrant after the monsoon, with excellent underwater visibility. It’s a great time to beat the crowds! The season also leaves the forests lush and full of life, making it perfect for nature enthusiasts. Calmer seas make island hopping in Ritchie’s archipelago incredibly enjoyable as well.

Winter season (December to February) marks peak tourist season with cool temperatures (20°C - 30°C). The best activities enjoyed during this time include sightseeing, water sports, spotting migratory and endemic birds, trekking through the biodiverse rainforest and star gazing.

Night kayaking(subject to government permit)is a magical experience to be had in around the year among the mangroves. On new moon nights, you can witness the beauty of the bioluminescence bloom in these waters.
